The Schnoor isn't just old – it's really old. Houses were built here as far back as the Middle Ages. At that time, the small quarter was mainly home to craftsmen and river fishermen. Today, the Schnoor is, on the one hand, a real gem full of history, art and little surprises around every corner. On the other hand, it is also a residential area with around 300 inhabitants.
