What can you expect from the city rally?

The approximately 3 km long route takes you to the most important sights in Bremen's Old town. You will explore the following areas:

- The historic market square with the Roland statue and Bremen town hall (from the outside)
- The Domshof (Cathedral yard) with the imposing St. Peter's Cathedral (from the outside)
- The picturesque Schnoor – Bremen's oldest district with winding alleys
- A section of the Weser promenade
- The unique Böttcherstrasse – an architectural masterpiece

At each stop, you will find interesting information and, of course, search tasks and puzzles that will challenge your ingenuity.

How it works:

You can choose between two options:

- Classic with pen and paper (as a printout)
- Digital on your smartphone or tablet (as a fillable pdf document)

No matter what you choose, you can start the city rally immediately after booking, without prior registration and at your own pace.

You can download and print the city rally as a pdf file at any time from the booking portal below. Simply click on “Dates” below and select any day in the calendar. Only one time slot can be selected for each date. After booking and paying, please click on “Show booking and download tickets.” Immediately afterwards, you will be shown the pdf documents you need to download and print out: the city rally, the solution sheet, the barrier-free version of the city rally and the information on splitting up larger groups. You can print out the documents as often as you need. If you like, you can then get started right away. The city rally can be done on any day of the week and at any time. Just grab a pen and the printed documents and you're ready to go. We recommend taking a clipboard or something similar with you as a writing surface for when you are on the go. And if you prefer to play the city rally digitally, you can simply enter your answers in the pdf document on your smartphone or tablet, as the document can be written on in the lines provided. To do this, simply forward the pdf document to all players after downloading it.

You can do the city rally on your own, in pairs, or in small groups, as you wish. If you have a larger group, you can also split up into several small groups and start the rally at different points. We recommend a maximum of 5 people per group. A maximum of 25 people can do the rally at the same time with a maximum of 5 small groups.
The city rally takes about 2-2.5 hours, depending on your individual pace and any breaks you take along the way. There are 30 puzzle questions.

The route of the city rally is not barrier-free, as there are steps and very narrow alleyways along the way. If you would like to do the city rally with a wheelchair, rollator or baby carriage, for example, please use the pdf document with the barrier-free version of the city rally, which you can download after booking.
