Truth or lie? – The guided city tour with the X factor

We will tell you among others a pack of lies – but don't worry, at the end we will reveal which stories were true and which were fake. On this special city tour through Bremen's Old town, you will listen to interesting and entertaining stories about the city's past and present. But be careful! Your sharp mind will be put to the test: every now and then, we will tell you some lies without any scruples and it's up to you to expose them.

Curious, unbelievable and lots of fun guessing

At the beginning of this tour, each guest receives a sheet of paper with the titles of various stories that will be told during the tour and the corresponding options to check off “true” or “false.” When it's time to guess a story, the guide will announce it in advance. At the end of the tour, you will find out which stories are actually true and which are complete nonsense. You are sure to be amazed at some point or another by which stories turn out to be true and which are pure fiction...

If you enjoy puzzles and guessing games, then this tour is just right for you! Look forward to exciting stories and secrets! There are a total of 15 special stories to guess along with. We will provide pens during the tour.

Highlights of Bremen's Old town

During the tour, you will explore the market square with its historic late medieval town hall (from the outside) and the Bremen Roland statue. In Böttcherstrasse, you will learn what coffee and art have to do with each other in Bremen and in the quaint Schnoor quarter you will discover tiny houses in winding alleys, among other things. This tour offers a unique combination of the most important sights, information about the city's history and interactive guessing fun.

Not quite sure about the date yet? No problem, you are welcome to come to the meeting point on one of the scheduled dates and pay the guide in cash on the spot. Please note, however, that each tour is limited to a maximum of 25 people, and the group may be filled already.

To mark the occasion, our public “Truth or Lie” tour will take place every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. this month (only in German language). If you would like to join one of these tours in May 2026 and are traveling to Bremen by train, you will receive a 50% discount on your ticket. Simply email us a scanned copy or photo of your train ticket in advance to info@bremenstadtfuehrung.de, and we will send you the discount code for booking your ticket.

The meeting point is in front of the main entrance of St. Peter's Cathedral (at the steps, on the side where the two large church towers are located).
