The guided city tour with the X factor
On this special guided city tour through Bremen-Vegesack, you will listen to interesting and entertaining stories about the city's past and present. But be careful! Your sharp mind will be put to the test: every now and then, I will tell you some lies without any scruples and it's up to you to expose them.
Curious, unbelievable and lots of fun guessing
At the beginning of this tour, each guest receives a sheet of paper with the titles of various stories that will be told during the tour and the corresponding options to check off “true” or “false.” When it's time to guess a story, I will announce it in advance. At the end of the tour, you will find out which stories are actually true and which are complete nonsense. You are sure to be amazed at some point or another by which stories turn out to be true and which are pure fiction...
If you enjoy puzzles and guessing games, then this tour is just right for you! Look forward to exciting stories and secrets! There are a total of 15 special stories to guess along with. I will provide pens during the tour.
Highlights of Vegesack
Vegesack is one of Bremen’s most historically significant and maritime districts, a place where you can experience the history of German shipbuilding, seafaring, and the Hanseatic merchant tradition in a truly impressive way. On this exciting guided tour through Vegesack, you’ll follow in the footsteps of shipyard founders, Greenland sailors, and wealthy Bremen citizens who built their summer residences here in the 19th century.
The route runs along the Vegesack Museum port, past the Utkiek, a short way down Weserstrasse, and into a section of the Vegesack City Park.
For this guided tour, it is absolutely essential that all participants be able to walk well, as we will be walking a lot along the way, there are hardly any places to sit, and we will be going down stairs.
